Togo Tourist Visa
The Togolese tourist visa is for tourists coming from abroad to enjoy their time in the country for leisure. This visa allows you to enjoy the sights and sounds on offer for up to 90 days, and it is available to persons not from visa-exempt countries. Tourist visas have single and multiple entry options, so you are free to choose the option that best suits your needs. Apart from leisure, this visa can be used to visit family and friends or attend a social or cultural event in the country.
However, tourists are required to have rerun or onward flight tickets before they arrive and sufficient funds for their itinerary. There is also an option for an extension for those looking to spend more time in Togo.

Togo Business Visa
A business visa is a short-term entry document for noncommercial ventures. This means that while you can use it for business-related activities, you cannot use it as a working document to gain employment in the country. Business visas are issued to non-visa-exempt visitors coming for meetings; conferences are any other endeavor that will not last more than 90 days from the first day of entry.
It is available in single and multiple-entry versions, and the latter is for frequent visitors who have regular engagements in Togo. Embassy officials will ask for information about their dealings in the country as long as a goat of other documents, including a valid passport before the visa will be issued.

Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

Business Letter. A soft/hard copy of business letter from the sending company. The letter should be printed on the company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Togo, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines: Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant). State the nature of the business to be conducted (i.e. nature of contracting, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Togo. Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (i.e. a one year multiple entry business visa). Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel. In the event the applicant is self-employed, please mention the nature of business conducted in Togo in the application under "Other" in paragraph 1.15. Specify the place of accommodation in Togo.

State Department Letter. A letter from the US Department of State addressed to the "Embassy of Togo, Washington D.C. ", giving a detailed description of the purpose of travel, the names and addresses of any organizations to be visited, and the dates of the trip. The letter must contain the applicant's name and the passport number and should have a statement confirming that the US Embassy in Togo will take full responsibility for the applicant.
